Guelph Coffee and Code wants to help out it’s community, mainly we do so by providing Developers a place to network and grow their skills with Community projects. We will post jobs for any type of Technology related position including IT Administrators, Developers, Database Administrators the only catch is the Job Postings must be submitted to Cory Fowler from the company that is hiring.

Are you a Software Developer in Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo or from another City/Town in the Golden Triangle?  Are you interested in learning new skills, sharing your experiences, or contributing to Community based Software projects?

We want to see you out at our next Guelph Coffee and Code Session!

Our next meeting will be a round table discussion on learning objectives that the group has and how they can be incorporated into up coming Community Projects.

soma Ontario Marketing Agency donates Hosting

Soma Ontario Marketing Agency Logo A local (Cambridge, Ontario) Marketing Company, soma Ontario Marketing Agency, makers of somaICE a Software as a Service Content Management System, will be sponsoring Guelph Coffee and Code. Soma will be providing our members with hosting space for community-built projects using open source programming languages PHP, Python, and Perl, as well as hosting our MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Thank you soma Ontario Marketing Agency!

Guelph Coffee and Code will be starting to brainstorm and look for small software development projects to help its members share skills, learn new programming languages or techniques, as well as building team development skills, and give the opportunity to gain experience in software project management. If you have a unique skill you wish to share, or would like to come out to experience this unique learning opportunity be sure to check back for postings, or Subscribe to the Guelph Coffee and Code RSS feed.

We are still looking for an addition hosting sponsor that will be able to provide hosting for .NET based projects.
