This weeks Guelph Coffee and Code event will be focused on starting up the @OpenGuelph Project. John Rockefeller will be leading the efforts this week as Cory Fowler will be presenting on Windows Azure at the Toronto Visual Basic User Group [TVBUG].
John will be leading a PHP application to bring an open data feed from Vancouver, or Edmonton and overlaying it on a Google or Bing Map.

I’d love to see some code re-use hapenning, with the end-results of this work being open sourced, like the ODAF http://odaf.codeplex.com/ framework.

@Nik – I’ll be leading an ASP.NET MVC Project that will be able to reuse a lot of this code. Thanks for passing along the link.
Another source of some open data is http://datadotgc.ca, which is an independant non-government project that is releasing open government data.
