Guelph Coffee and Code: March 18th

06 Mar

There is a Special Event afoot for Guelph Coffee and Code.  The March 18th event will be sponsored by Innosphere Systems Development Group LTD of Guelph, Ontario.

Guelph Coffee and CodeWe’re going to try something a little different to see if we can attract more attendees by moving the event to 6pm. This will enable Developers, Designers, QA Specialists, IT Pros and other Technologists to venture directly from work to join in. This means that food and beverages will be provided at the event.

Another change is that we will be using another location as we hope to attract a larger crowd. So for this special event we will be meeting at the freshly renovated Red Brick Cafe at 77 Westmount St, Guelph, Ontario.

Cory Fowler, Guelph Coffee and Code Founder and Innosphere Employee, will be giving a brief presentation on SQL Azure to demonstrate its flexibility with PHP, Ruby (Ruby on Rails), Python (Django), and ASP.NET. After the presentation there will be an opportunity to socialize and collaborate with your peers.

Be sure to Register for the event.

Guelph Coffee and Code: 1st Anniversary

05 Mar

Guelph Coffee and Code Celebrated it’s 1st anniversary tonight.

It seems funny that a technology event is getting it’s first website 1 year after creation.  Thanks to Joey deVilla for hosting us at www.coffeeandcode.org for so long.  From this point forward feel free to check out Guelph Coffee and Code events here.  We’re still on Facebook and have just been added to LinkedIn.

At any rate, I look forward to continue to Develop Guelph Coffee and Code.
